The app is designed specially for playing audio books.
Assumed that you have audiobooks and already copied them to your phone.

It may be useful if you have headsets like Galaxy Buds where double click makes fast forward and triple click makes rewind. Now you can swap this actions.
Double click for rewind and triple click for fast forward.

It may be handy if you are listening to podcasts with ads of fixed length.
In some cases 30 seconds fast forward is not enough but 60 seconds is too big.
